About Muktinath Temple :

Muktinath is a Vishnu temple, sacred to both Hindus and Buddhists, located in the Muktinath Valley at the foothills of the Thorong La mountain pass in Mustang, Nepal. It is one of the highest temples in the world 3,800 meters (12,467 feet). In Hinduism, it is one of the 108 Divya Desams and the only Divya Desam located outside India. It is also known as Mukti Kshetra, literally meaning 'field of liberation' (moksha) and is one of the Char Dhams of Nepal. This temple is considered to be the 106th out of the 108 Divya Desams and is considered sacred by the Sri Vaishnava sect. Its ancient name in Sri Vaishnava literature is Tiru Shaligramam. The Gandaki River, which flows nearby, is the sole source of the Shaligram Shila, that are required to establish a temple of Vishnu. It is a non-anthropomorphic representation of Lord Vishnu. Many Shaligrams found here during the Muktinath Yatra are considered and worshiped by Hindus as incarnations of Lord Vishnu. According to Hindu myth, Lord Vishnu transformed into Shaligram due to the curse of Brinda. It has 108 water springs, this number holds great significance in Hindu philosophy.

Tour Itinerary :

Day 01 - Gorakhpur Arrival and Drive to Pokhara

As per the tour plan, our representative will be present to welcome you at Gorakhpur Railway Station / Airport / Bus Station. After that we will depart for Pokhara. After reaching Pokhara, we will stay overnight at pre-booked hotel in Pokhara.

Day 02 - Pokhara To Jomsom- Muktinath Darshan

After breakfast in the morning, traveling for about 6 hours, we will proceed towards Jomsom enjoying the view of the valley, Roop waterfall, snow capped mountains. After that we will leave for Muktinath Darshan. After Muktinath darshan, you will visit and enjoy the nearby Jwala Mai temple, Kali Gandaki River (which flows nearby, is considered to be the only source of the shaligrama shila), and the beautiful natural views of Muktinath. we will stay overnight at hotel in Jomsom.

Day 03 - Jomsom To Pokhara

After morning breakfast we will depart for Pokhara. After traveling for about 6 hours to reach Pokhara, we will visit the famous Phewa Lake and lake side market of Pokhara. It is the second largest lake in Nepal. It is the most popular and most visited lake in Nepal. The environment around Phewa Lake is quite picturesque and natural. Overnight stay in Pokhara.

Day 04 - Full Day Pokhara Sightseeing

After breakfast in the hotel, we will explore the whole Pokhara. We will explore the major sites in Pokhara which mainly include Vindhyavashi Temple, Seti River, Barahi Temple, Gupteshwar Mahadev Cave, and Davis Fall. Overnight stay at hotel in Pokhara.

Day 05 - Pokhara To Kathmandu Via Manakamana

After breakfast in the morning we will depart for Kathmandu. There is Manokamna Mata Temple on the way to Kathmandu, you will reach there via cable car and have darshan. After this, we will continue the journey and reach Kathmandu. Overnight stay at hotel in Kathmandu.

Day 06 - Full Day Kathmandu Sightseeing

In the morning after breakfast we will explore Kathmandu city. Kathmandu, the capital of Nepal, is located in a valley surrounded by the Himalayan mountains. Visit to Kathmandu's famous Pashupatinath Temple (dedicated to Pashupati, a form of Shiva), Buddha Stupa, Swayambhu Mahachaitya, Kathmandu Durbar Square, Thamel, Sri Guhyeshwari. Overnight stay at hotel in Kathmandu.

Day 07 - Kathmandu To Gorakhpur Drop

Today will be the last day of our journey. After breakfast in the morning we will depart for Gorakhpur. After reaching Gorakhpur, you will be dropped at Railway Station/Airport/Bus Station and end the journey with a sweet memory.
